I am always interested in articles that apply modern day scientific knowledge and study to Yoga. I just read this article which looks at the neuroscience behind having a strong core and the adrenal glands. It appears that having a strong core from a Yoga or Pilates practice can help in our ability to deal with stress inputs.
I must point out that I do not agree with animal testing which is where the research has been discovered. Ahimsa to all living creatures.
