Gentle Years Yoga
Our Gentle Years Yoga Class is a chair based yoga suitable for anyone who wishes to or needs to take their yoga practice a little more gently. This includes people with age related health conditions or health conditions that require a yoga practice that is modified.
Gentle Years Yoga is an authentic traditional Hatha yoga practice that has been modified to be chair based. A 75 minute class will include breathing exercises, a pulse raising activity, concentration activities, co-ordination activities, resistance work, yoga postures and a relaxation. It is suitable for all and can be adapted for all.
Class is followed by optional tea / coffee / chat for people to socialise in Popsy’s cafe in the Hoylake Parade Community Centre.
To attend our 30th September Friday Gentle Years Yoga Class at 1:00pm you need to complete a health questionnaire and return it to us.

PARTICIPANT RULES – MUST READ
If you are experiencing any symptoms of coronavirus then please do not attend class. We would also request that students do not attend if they have cold or flu symptoms.
As a precaution we politely request that students wear a face mask on arrival whilst queuing to enter until they take their place in the hall and roll out their mat. Face masks need not be worn during the yoga class but we are happy for students to wear a mask should they wish to do so.
We will provide all equipment that is required to participate in the class. However, participants may wish to bring their own yoga mat and equipment if they have it (yoga mat, block, resistance band, scarf, spiky massage ball, bean bag). If you wish to purchase a set of chair yoga equipment from us please message us.
Participants must have completed a Health Questionnaire and provided up to date contact information to ensure that Track and Trace will be possible if required. If you have not completed a questionnaire recently then you can submit one easily online to ensure we have up to date information. The link to our online form is here: Yogasmiths Student Health Questionnaire
Yogasmiths will offer verbal adjustments and if hands on adjustments are appropriate we will ask permission before doing so.
As recommended by the British Wheel of Yoga we have carried out a full risk assessment and have produced a detailed lesson plan.
Refund and cancellation policy
No refunds will be given on purchased places except in the event that Yogasmiths cancel the session. If you cannot attend class and provide 24 hours notice then we can provide you with a refund in the form of a voucher code credit for a future class. If less than 24 hours notice is given then no refund will be offered.
We look forward to guiding you through your yoga practice.
