Please arrive in plenty of time as the location will be a 5 minute walk from the Red Rocks slip way at the end of Stanley Road. The class will start promptly at 5:30pm.
When you arrive at the location on the beach, you will be directed to place your mat in a particular location. Yogasmiths will be ensuring the safe placement of mats at a 2m distance from each other.
Please note, Yogasmiths will not be providing any equipment for this event in line with covid-19 guidelines. Participants must bring their own yoga mat. We do have a small stock for sale. If you wish to purchase a yoga mat from us please arrange this with us in advance.

By purchasing this class you confirm that you have read and agree to our disclaimer which you can find below;
PARTICIPANT RULES – MUST READ
By attending you are confirming that you are not experiencing any symptoms of coronavirus.
If attending with children then the accompanying adult is responsible for ensuring that the child is always supervised and that they adhere to social distancing at all times.
Mats will be placed 2m apart unless you are from the same household or in the same support bubble. This is 2m from mat edge to mat edge. This includes in front of and behind you as well as to the sides. A teacher will be there to assist and ensure this is adhered to.
A standard yoga mat is about 1.8m long so this is a useful guide to assist in the safe placing of your mats.
Participants must maintain social distancing of 2m from each other at all times unless you are from the same household or support bubble as per government guidelines.
Participants must bring their own yoga mat and equipment. Yogasmiths Limited will not be providing any equipment at this event inline with Covid-19 best practice guidelines.
Participants must have completed a Health Questionnaire and provided up to date contact information to ensure that Track and Trace will be possible if required. If you have not completed a questionnaire recently then you can submit one easily online to ensure we have up to date information. The link to our online form is here: Yogasmiths Student Health Questionnaire
Yogasmiths will not be providing any hands on adjustments and will maintain social distancing from the participants at all times. Adjustments will be offered verbally only.
As recommended by the British Wheel of Yoga we have carried out a full risk assessment and have produced a detailed lesson plan.
As we will be teaching outside on the beach we recommend that students bring with them the following:
- A yoga mat
- A beach towel to place underneath their yoga mat. This will help to prevent the yoga mat getting damp if the sand is moist
- Sun screen
- Suitable clothing and shoes suitable for the beach (footwear that you do not mind getting wet or go bare foot on the beach)
- A jumper or blanket for warmth in case it is cool
- Water to drink
Refund and cancellation policy
No refunds will be given on purchased places except in the event that Yogasmiths cancel the pop-up session.

From the British Wheel of Yoga Website;
“At its simplest, yoga is an efficient, safe and controlled method of exercise, increasing flexibility and building strength and stamina.
Yoga can also lower stress by developing relaxation and breathing techniques. As physical well-being and bodily awareness improve, students develop deeper breathing and an ability to relax more easily. Many also experience an increase in energy levels, greater mental clarity and a general feeling of calmness and control.
Yoga isn’t easy. It is tough discipline but rewarding! And the benefits of yoga aren’t instantaneous but the result of continued practice. Yoga gives us the space to take the awareness inwards bringing the body, mind and spirit into harmony.”
